Richard Greenberg’s Three Days of Rain takes stage at Texas State

SAN MARCOS—The Texas State University-San Marcos Department of Theatre and Dance presents Richard Greenberg’s Three Days of Rain March 3-5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Studio Theatre at the Theatre Center.
Directed by graduate student Robert Matthew Harrington and starring John Stewart, Katie Christman and Zane Messina, Three Days of Rain follows the events that unfold when Walker Janeway returns home to New York one year after the funeral of his emotionally distant father. When the discovery of his father’s journal turns out to be unsatisfying, Walker forces a confrontation with his family during the reading of his father’s will, discovering the answers he needs. In the guise of a love story, the audience is offered all the information needed to devise an alternative reading of the sad, unexpectedly romantic family story.
