Michelle Toews featured speaker at Wimberley Lecture Series

SAN MARCOS — Michelle Toews, a professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at Texas State University-San Marcos, will deliver a free public lecture as part of the Wimberley Lecture Series, Tuesday, Jan. 11.
The lecture will be at 7 p.m. at Chapel in the Hills in Wimberley.
Toews will discuss ?It?s Not the Cleavers Anymore: A Look at American Families,? exploring the many ways families in the United States have changed and adapted in order to function in modern society.
The series features Texas State faculty, held the second Tuesday of each month.
Future speakers include Dennis Dunn, International Studies Director, on Feb. 8.
