Con Mis Manos (With My Hands) is a powerful new drama that premiered at the American College Theatre Festival last year and received rave reviews and numerous awards. It tells the story of the Gutierrez family, who live a happy, uneventful existence in the Rio Grande Valley until they have to contend with the mother’s sudden illness. Spanish and English are interwoven as the play offers insights--both serious and comical--into the emotional dynamics among the family members. The guest director for the show is Luis Munoz, a former student of Texas State and the state’s University Interscholastic League One-Act Play Director.
For more information, contact Victoria Alvarez at (512) 245-2147 or call the box office at (512) 245-2204 for ticket information.
