Accidental Death of an Anarchist takes stage at Texas State

SAN MARCOS —The Texas State University-San Marcos Department of Theatre and Dance presents Dario Fo’s Accidental Death of an Anarchist 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3-5 in the Studio Theatre at the Theatre Center.
Directed by graduate student Jenny Lewis, Accidental Death of an Anarchist is a sharp and hilarious satire on police corruption in Italy concerning the case of an anarchist railway worker who, in 1969, 'fell' to his death from a police headquarters window. In its first two years of production in Italy, Fo's play was seen by more than half a million people. It has since been performed all over the world and become a classic of twentieth-century theatre.
