SAN MARCOS— Officials from Texas State University-San Marcos are seeking input from the local community concerning the university's master plan.
The university will hold a public meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, in the San Marcos Municipal Court Building behind the San Marcos City Hall. Members of the San Marcos community are encouraged to attend.
The purpose of the meeting is to educate the community about Texas State's "Honor the Past, Claim the Future Plan" for 2006-2015. University officials also want to receive feedback on such issues as new building space, deferred maintenance, space allocation, facility functionality, infrastructure, vehicle and pedestrian transit, parking, landscaping, architectural standards and overall campus layout and design.
