SAN MARCOS – Admiral B.R. Inman, former director of the National Security Agency, will be the keynote speaker at the 15th anniversary Mathworks gala on April 8 at Texas State University-San Marcos.
The gala will be held from 6-9 p.m. on the 11th floor of the J.C. Kellam Building on campus.

Mathworks is a center for innovation in mathematics education, striving to raise the level of mathematic abilities of all students from an early age. Mathworks programs are providing new opportunities for Texas State undergraduates to become involved in teaching mathematics by working directly with students and teachers in the public schools.
At the gala, Ronya Kozmetsky will be honored with the Mathworks Founders Award in recognition of her important contributions to beginning and sustaining the program over the past 15 years. Judith Carlin, Eduardo Reyna and Esteban Salinas will receive the Outstanding Educator Awards in recognition of their exceptional work with students.
