Extras needed for Farrelly Brothers movie filming at Texas State

SAN MARCOS — Extras are needed to fill Bobcat Stadium at Texas State University-San Marcos for filming of The Ringer, a Farrelly Brothers production starring Johnny Knoxville.

Scenes in the movie will be filmed Sunday, Dec. 14 through Thursday, Dec. 18, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos (Exit 206, Aquarena Springs Drive, one mile west on Aquarena Springs Drive). The Farrelly Brothers are best-known for such comedy hits as Dumb & Dumber and There’s Something About Mary.

Special donations will be made to Special Olympics Texas for each person in attendance. Raffle prizes will be given away, including electronics and gift certificates. Extras under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
