Glickman book honored by Educational Publishers
SAN MARCOS — Carl Glickman, an internationally recognized leader in education and the Roy F. and Joann Cole Mitte Endowed Chair in School Improvement at Texas State University-San Marcos, was recognized by the National Association of Educational Publishers for his recent book Leadership for Learning.
The book received the EdPress Distinguished Achievement Award as one of the four most outstanding books in education published in the year 2002.
As holder of the Mitte Chair in School Improvement, Glickman serves as a senior leader in the university’s doctoral program in school improvement and adult professional and community education. He also assists in research and the development of partnerships focused on education.
