BOBCAT BUILD COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT ON SATURDAY, MARCH 29 600 SWT STUDENTS WILL WORK ON 36 SAN MARCOS AREA PROJECTS
On Saturday, March 29, more than 600 SWT students will work at 36 projects all over San Marcos as part of the first university-wide community service day. Greeks, student organizations and individuals will be washing school buses, building a garden for a Head Start school and food bank, cleaning the Schulle Canyon greenspace, helping fit saddles on horses for AWARE, cleaning school playgrounds, working at the city animal shelter, helping with a Habitat for Humanity project, working at two local children’s festivals, and performing dozens of other projects to benefit the San Marcos community.

Place: Kick-off at Bobcat Village Commuter Parking lot, Aquarena Springs Drive at 9 a.m. Students hit job sites at 9:30
