SWT to hold symposium on Iraq

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS — Southwest Texas State University will sponsor an interdisciplinary symposium titled Should the U.S. Invade Iraq? from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, in the Albert Alkek Library teaching theatre.

The event is free and open to the public.

Panelists include SWT faculty members Rebecca Bell-Metereau of the English Department, Robert Gorman and former U.S. Sen. Robert Krueger of the Political Science Department and James Pohl of the History Department. The discussion will be moderated by Jeffrey Gordon of the Philosophy Department.
