September 11th “Remembrance Ceremony”

The City of San Marcos, Hays County and Southwest Texas State University join together to remember the tragic events of the 9/11 World Trade Towers disaster and those who lost their lives.

San Marcos City Manager Dan O’Leary welcomes the particpants to the “Remembrance Day” ceremony at 7:47A.M. exactly one year after the first plane struck the North World Trade Tower. A plaque outsite the San Marcos City Hall memorializes the innocent victims who were taken from us during the first terrorist attack on U.S. soil.
