Texas State University Student Government, with support from various university organizations and groups, will host “Diversity Week: Moving from Words to Action” Nov. 9-14.

Diversity Week brings the university community together to celebrate the value of diverse people and ideas, the spirit of inclusiveness, a global perspective, and a sense of community. Most events will be held virtually and require advance registration online.

Events include the Defamation Experience, featuring courtroom drama exploring issues of race, class, religion, gender and the law with a twist — the audience serves as the jury; the FedEX Freight Boardroom Experience giving students the chance to interact with senior leaders from FedEx Freight; a student panel discussion on Moving Beyond Tokenism Diversity; and Equality University.

For more information and a schedule of events, visit the Diversity Week webpage.  For questions, call the Student Government Office at (512) 245-1274 or email studentgov@txstate.edu.
