The Department of Counseling, Leadership, Adult Education and School Psychology (CLAS) at Texas State University will host the fifth annual Qualitative Research Conference on Saturday, February 4.

The event will run 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the LBJ Student Center Teaching Theater. It is free and open to the public.

The conference will include multiple dialogue sessions with some of Texas State’s leading researchers in education, and will feature Johnny Saldaña as the keynote speaker. Saldaña is the MFA Evelyn Smith Professor in the School of Theater and Film at Arizona State University. His methods using ethnographic play scripts in exploration of reality through improvisational work are both cutting edge and accessible. Saldaña is the author of multiple books on qualitative methodologies and ethnodrama/ethnotheater.

Lunch will be provided for the first 45 registrants. To register, visit www.eventbrite.com/e/5th-annual-texas-state-qualitative-research-conference-tickets-20736764220?aff=affiliate1
