Texas State University students may have received a hoax emergency text message. Multiple universities nationwide are currently reporting this same hoax. There are no emergencies at any Texas State facility at this time. Please disregard any emergency message not sent from official Texas State sources, such as Emergency Management and University News accounts, or the university website.
