IN BRIEF: Center for Children and Families hosts networking event

The Center for Children and Families at Texas State University will host the research and networking event, "Children and Families Across the Lifespan" Oct. 15.

The event will be held 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the LBJ Student Center ballroom.

The CCF is a university-level resource center for education and information about children and families. The event will focus on connecting graduate students, faculty and others with existing researchers and community agencies to make new interdisciplinary research connections both on and off campus.

The event is held in cooperation with the Council for Interdisciplinary Research and Grants, the Office of the Associate Vice President for Research, Texas School Safety Center, College of Applied Arts, College of Education and the College of Health Professions.
