Department of Agriculture hosts FFA Career Development Events

The Department of Agriculture at Texas State University will host the annual Texas State University FFA Career Development Events (CDEs) Friday, March 28.

A total of 140 high schools throughout Texas will attend, bringing approximately 2,000 students to the events and judging contests. These events and judging contests will be held at different venues both on and off the Texas State campus, including the Agriculture Building, the Freeman Center and the Comal County Fairgrounds.

The events and judging contests are in the areas of agricultural mechanics, agricultural sales, farm business management, livestock judging, meats, nursery/landscape, poultry, wildlife, entomology and vet technology.
