Texas State theatre brings 'Gruesome Playground Injuries' to stage

Gruesome Playground Injuries

Texas State University Department of Theatre and Dance will present “Gruesome Playground Injuries” Nov. 1-3 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. at the PSH Foundation Studio Theatre, located in the theater center on campus.

Tickets for the performance are $10 for general admission and $7 for students with a valid Texas State ID. Tickets will go on sale beginning Oct. 25 at 10 a.m.

This play by Rajiv Joseph is directed by A. Julian Verner and follows Kayleen and Doug as they manage a lifelong friendship over the course of 30 years, fraught with accidents and survival. Their lives intersect at the most bizarre intervals, leading the two childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together.
