The Texas Music Theatre will host the Soulshine Scholarship benefit show in support of the Soulshine Scholarship Foundation at 4 p.m. Nov. 18.

The Soulshine Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization aiding the Texas State University School of Music with an annual scholarship in memory of Chase Monks and Bradley Schroeder, which is given to a deserving student wishing to pursue a continued education in music.

The benefit will include acoustic song swaps by some of the state's most talented artists: Cody Canada, Ryan Beaver, William Clark Green and Eric Middleton. There will also be a silent auction and raffle giveaways. Kyle Park, a Texas State alumnus, will close the evening with a full-band show.

The benefit tickets are $20, and they are available at the door or can be purchased online at www.frontgatetickets.com.
