Texas State’s Round Rock campus hosts Bobcat Day, health fair

Texas State University-San Marcos will host a Bobcat Day and health fair at the Round Rock Higher Education Center Saturday, April 30.

Bobcat Day is open to all students and parents who wish to learn more about Texas State and will run from 10 a.m.-noon in the Avery Building. During the event, information will be available on admissions, financial aid and scholarships and degree offerings.

There is no registration fee to attend Bobcat Day, but pre-registration is required at www.rrhec.txstate.edu/bobcatday.

The Round Rock campus will also host a health and wellness fair from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Approximately two dozen health-related vendors will be represented, and blood pressure, vision and glucose screenings will be available. Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for the Round Rock Serving Center and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
