The Texas State University-San Marcos Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Outreach Program and Office of Facilities Planning Design and Construction will host a HUB Construction Forum June 1.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the LBJ Student Center ballroom on campus.

Subcontractors who are HUBs or potential HUBs are invited to meet and network with key stakeholders and decision makers (Texas State staff, general contractor/primes, job order contractors, other universities and local minority trade organizations) on upcoming Texas State and other universities' construction projects.

HUBs in attendance are encouraged to take advantage of the HUB-focused educational seminars on bonding, accessing capital and construction contracts that will be available.

For detailed information on registering, directions and a copy of the agenda for this event, visit www.txstate.edu/gao/hubprogram or contact Yolanda Strey, HUB specialist at (512) 245-2523.
