Tuesday classes cancelled at 5 p.m.; late opening scheduled for Wednesday at 9 a.m.

Because of the threat of continued sleet and snow and the possibility of icy road conditions, classes at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses of Texas State University are cancelled as of 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23.

 

Although classes are cancelled as of 5 p.m. Tuesday, other university buildings and events may remain open for business as usual. For information on other scheduled activities or meetings, please contact the individual event sponsor or department. The Alkek Library will close at 10 p.m. on Tuesday and reopen at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

 

Classes will resume and the university will reopen at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24.

 

University shuttle buses will continue to run until 10 p.m. Tuesday. Buses operating Austin and San Antonio routes on Wednesday will observe normal hours. Buses serving local San Marcos routes on Wednesday will begin running at 8 a.m.
