Religious Diversity Series hosts ‘Religion & Ethnicity’ discussion

Texas State University-San Marcos will host “Religion and Ethnicity: A Panel Discussion,” at 7 p.m., March 24 in room 157 of Centennial Hall on campus.

Part of the ongoing Religious Diversity Series, the panel will discuss the intersections of religion, ethnic identity, human rights, and the nation-state. Panelists include former U.S. Senator Robert Krueger; Amjad Mohammad, Arabic language coordinator at Texas State; Jean-Marie Ngendahayo, scholar-in-residence, Texas Lutheran University; Leah Renold, history faculty, Texas State. The moderator will be Rebecca Raphael of the Department of Philosophy at Texas State.

The panel discussion is sponsored by Equity and Access, the College of Liberal Arts, the Departments of English, History, Philosophy and Psychology, and the Center for Multicultural and Gender Studies at Texas State.
