The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University-San Marcos presents Eric Bogosian’s acclaimed play Suburbia Oct. 25-28.

Directed by Mandi Tapia, performances will be Oct. 25-27 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. at the PSH Foundation Studio Theatre in the Theatre Center on campus.

Set outside a suburban convenience store, Bogosian’s contemporary classic seethes with the energy of youthful humor, anger and angst.  New York critics hailed Suburbia as one of the “best plays of the season” when it premiered at Lincoln Center.

Due to subject matter, the play is recommended for mature audiences.

Admission is $8 for the general public and $5 for students with a Texas State ID. Tickets can be purchased at the University Box Office in the Theatre Center, located at the corner of Moon Street and University Drive and available by phone at (512) 245-2204.
