The Phi Iota Alpha Latino fraternity chapter at Texas State University-San Marcos will host an Immigration Forum and Discussion 7 p.m. Oct. 9 in the LBJ Student Center Teaching Theater on campus.

The event will present the facts, history, future, criticisms and stances from both political parties. The immigration forum will begin with speeches presented by the College Democrats, Latino Student Association and others. The speeches will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session. This event is meant to provide the Texas State community with the correct information they will need in order to vote in 2008 on this issue.
