Dennis Dunn featured speaker at Wimberley Lecture Series

SAN MARCOS —Dennis Dunn, International Studies Director at Texas State University-San Marcos, will deliver a free public lecture as part of the Wimberley Lecture Series, Tuesday, Feb. 8.

The lecture will be at 7 p.m. at Chapel in the Hills in Wimberley.
Dunn will discuss “Russia and the Catholic Church: A Relationship that Explains the Strain with the West,” exploring the centuries-old conflicts that have risen anew between Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity since the fall of the Soviet Union, and how these impact international politics.

The series features Texas State faculty, held the second Tuesday of each month. Future speakers include Brock Brown of the Geography Department faculty, on March 8.
